sugar

molasses

flour

baking soda

extra sugar for rolling in
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in egg and molasses.
Sift in dry ingredients. Blend well.
Form small balls and roll in sugar.
Bake 2 inches apart in 350 F oven for 10=12 minutes. Cool.
These cookies will flatten as they bake and look cracked on top.
