Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 11/2 cups flour if batter seems thin add up to 1/2 cup more
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips mini chocolate chips are very good

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer mash bananas; add sugar and slightly beaten egg
  • Add melted butter
  • In a separate bowl sift flour baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Add dry ingredients to the first banana mixture and stir until just combined
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Distribute batter between 12 muffin paper liners or greased muffin pan
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 18 minutes or until lightly browned on top
