Cinnamon Honey Spread Makes a Great Gift!
Food gifts are always a favorite of mine. These homemade Christmas food gifts in a jar with Cinnamon Honey Butter make a pretty presentation when you add a little bling to the jars, and pair with homemade bread, pound cake, biscuit mix, or even bagels! I found jars at my local dollar store that were similar to these ones.
You can easily double this recipe. I’ve made lots of batches to give as gifts, and my family has gone through a few of the jars already!
Warning……. you may want to double or triple the recipe because everyone is going to want some!
Cinnamon Honey Butter
Ingredients
- 2 cup liquid honey
- 2 cup butter softened
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Using a whisk attachment on an electric mixer, add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and blend until smooth and creamy (about 5-7 minutes), scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Use a rubber spatula to pour the mixture into a large pastry bag (or ziptop bag), cut off the tip (or one corner of the bag), and squeeze into half-pint jars. PRO TIP: place the bag in a tall glass for support, or have someone hold the bag while you spoon in the butter mixture.
- Keep refrigerated. Serve at room temperature.
How To Use Whipped Honey Cinnamon Butter?
Whipped honey cinnamon butter is best served slightly chilled but it needs to be soft and spreadable – but not warm.
You can store cinnamon butter on the counter at room temperature for up to 1-2 days. If you store it in the refrigerator, it should last a few months. It can be stored it in an airtight container in the freezer for 6 months.
